Big plans are coming for PBS!
We are working towards creating a permanent home in the west end of Toronto for Pia Bouman School of Ballet and Creative Movement (‘PBS’).
PBS’ lease at 225 Sterling Road will be ending in approximately three years and we are actively planning the studio’s future.
The historical and current lack of a dedicated space for artists and creators in Toronto is an unfortunate reality. However, we see tremendous value in working together in the creation of a long term, stable home for a Community Arts Hub. The Community Arts Hub would be anchored by PBS and also support activities of other arts-related and community-based organizations. We see the real benefit in cross-pollinating various arts disciplines and like-minded organizations and creating an active and lasting meeting place for the community.
We will be launching our capital campaign in the New Year. More information to come!
