The school’s mandate is unique:
Every child who has a wish to (learn) dance should be given a chance to do so

2. PBS Future Home and Arts Hub
Since 1978, our School has been forced to move four times. Once again our school must face this reality: our current lease will expire in 2027. As we plan for the next forced move for PBS, we wish it to also be the last. Based on our history and accomplishments we believe that Pia Bouman School has earned a permanent home in Toronto’s west end; your sharing in this belief will help us build our vision for our new home. 1. Continued Support
Continued support enables us to ensure our excellent and inclusive dance and arts education in a safe, nurturing and non-competitive atmosphere. This includes supporting choreography (Nutcracker, YMI Dancing), Special dance enrichment (March Break, summer dance intensives and camps for children), Workshops and Master classes. In addition to these immediate artistic projects, donations will also go to Capital Expenses (studio equipment).
3. The Bursary Fund
The School’s Bursary fund is unique. Here it is possible for any young person regardless of socio-economic background to have the opportunity to dance, to create and to perform. Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement provides excellence of training and inspires each student to excel in technique, artistry, and creative thinking.
HOW DOES ONE DONATE?
1. Cheque or E-Transfer
Cheques or E-transfers are our preferred method for donations over $100. Cheques should be made payable to Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement and can be mailed or dropped off at the School. E-transfers can be sent to accounting@piaboumanschool.org. If E-transferring, please additionally send us an email with your address so we can issue your tax receipt.
2. CanadaHelps
Donations of any kind including one-time gifts, monthly donations and donations of securities or mutual fund shares are gratefuly accepted through CanadaHelps.

As a charitable organization, The School will issue tax receipts for donations $20.00 and over.
United Way
United Way payroll donations are tax deductible and United Way will issue a tax receipt.Forms are available at your workplace. United Way does charge a processing fee of $12.00.
